Zonta Club of Springfield Dinner for Contact Ministries

The Zonta Club of Springfield prepared a hot meal for 30 residents of the Contact Ministries Emergency Shelter in Springfield, IL on March 15, 2026.


Contact Ministries provides food, shelter, clothing, financial assistance, referrals, and life skills education and training. Their Emergency (Crisis) Shelter operates overnight every night of the year for single women and women with children of all ages (up to 17 years of age). This provides a safe place for those staying to eat a meal, take a shower, do laundry, and have access to additional services and programs. Case Management and Mental Health referrals are available.


The Zonta Club of Springfield has made this dinner an annual event.
