Our Club Story

The Zonta Club of Indianapolis is over 100 years old. At this time we are a small group but we do a variety of service projects. We always award the YWPA each year and we give 2 Book award to women who are over 30 and returning to school. We are active in promoting the goals of Zonta International. We would love to grow but we are having problems finding new members.

Our Activities

Our biggest project is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt for the children of a local recovery house. The ladies bring their children, grandchildren, and nieces and nephew. The children find the hidden eggs, have a special treat and do a craft project. This is very rewarding to us to see how happy children and their relative are enjoying a good time We collect warm-ups for a local hospital to give the women who have suffered domestic violence or are rape victims. Several times a year, we volunteer to serve a meal at a local rescue mission.
