The Governor of Illinois signed a proclamation recognizing United Nations Day in Illinois.
Governor JB Pritzer has signed a proclamation recognizing October 24, 2026 as United Nations Day in Illinois in recognition of the commitment of the United Nations, Zonta International, and the Zonta Club of Kankakee to the advancement of the status of women and girls internationally, nationally, and in the State of Illinois.
Thank you to the Zonta Club of Kankakee for your efforts to support women and girls locally and globally, and for your work to have this day recognized throughout the state of Illinois!
